The SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (JEEE) is a great opportunity for all those students who want to get admission to various undergraduate engineering courses. It is basically a university level entrance examination which is conducted once in a year. The examination will be conducted by the SRM Institute of Science and Technology and it is going to be held through online mode. SRMJEEE 2020: Application Form
The application form of SRMJEEE 2020 has been made available from 12th October 2019 and the last date to apply is July 2020 for OMR and 15th July 2020 for online mode. In the registration process, candidates have to fill all the correct details that have been asked in the application form such as their qualification, address, Personal details, etc. Candidates also need to attach required documents, photograph and signature in the application form. For the further process, candidates are advised to take a printout of the application form.
Eligibility Criteria
As far as nationality is concerned, Indian National or NRI are eligible to apply. In addition to that, the holders of PIO or OCI card issued by the Government of India are also qualified for applying. For applying to the SRMJEEE 2020 examination, candidates who are born between July 1, 1998, to July 1, 2003, would qualify the age criteria and are eligible to apply. Candidates who have qualified 12th standard or equivalent exam or are appearing in the same can apply for SRMJEEE. The Minimum scores that the candidates must have attained in their 12th standard should be 60 per cent in PCM (for Kanthalkulathar Campus), 50 per cent in PCM (For Ghaziabad (NCR), Sonipat, Rampur campuses) and 75 per cent in PCM (For SRM Amravati Campus). There has been Direct Admission process as well and for that criteria, the top 100 rankers in IIT JEE, Top rankers of central & state board of examination are eligible for direct admissions.

Exam Pattern
The SRMJEEE 2020 examination is going to be held online mode with the time duration of 2 hours & 30 minutes. The mode of examination will be in English language and there will be multiple-choice questions that would be asked in the examination. Questions will be asked from a total of five subjects such as physics, chemistry, biology, aptitude, English and mathematics. Candidates are asked to have to select anyone from the Biology or Mathematics subjects. For every correct answer, one mark will be allotted to the candidates whereas there will be no negative marking for answering any questions wrong.
Syllabus
The syllabus for SRMJEEE 2020 examination is mainly based on the basic course of class 12th in all the subjects such as physics, chemistry, aptitude, English and biology/mathematics for SRMJEEE 2020. Some important topics from Physics are Units and Measurement, Electricity and Magnetism, Gravitation, Mechanics of Solids and Fluids, Heat and Thermodynamics, etc. Important topics from Chemistry are Catalysis and Nuclear Chemistry, Chemical Equilibrium, Atomic Structure, Chemical Kinetics, Surface Chemistry, etc. Key topic from Mathematics subjects Statistics and Probability, Analytical Geometry, Matrices, Determinants and their applications, etc. Some major topics from Biology subject include Environmental Science, Biology in Human Welfare, Microbiology etc.
Preparation Tips
In order to get prepared for the examination, candidates should prepare the prescribed syllabus thoroughly for which they can also set the time table for covering every topic from each subject of the syllabus. For making your preparation strong, you should consider studying from sample papers and solving previous year question paper will also help. Try not to take overload stress as it will affect your health so stay healthy.
Answer Key
Answer key of SRMJEEE 2020 entrance test will include all the right answers to all the questions that have been asked in the question paper. It will be uploaded on the official online portal from where candidates can get access to the answer key. With the help of this, candidates can estimate their scores that they might achieve in the exam.
Cut-Off Marks
The SRMJEEE 2020 cut-off marks are going to be released by SRM University after the result will be declared on the official site. Cut-off marks will be prepared by the authority based on many factors such as previous year cut-off, level of exam, number of students among many. One must take note that the cut-off marks of SRMJEE 2020 will be different for each course and different campus as well. It is also very important for the admission process as those candidates who will qualify the cut-off marks by scoring equal or more than that will be selected for the admission.
Application Fee
To complete the registration process successfully, candidates have to submit the application fee through online or offline (DD) mode. The demand draft has been made in favour of SRMIST, payable at Chennai. For Online mode, candidates have to pay Rs. 1100 and for the Offline mode, candidates would be asked to pay the fee of Rs. 1160.
Admit Card
The SRMJEEE 2020 Admit card is going to be made available through online mode at the official site from July 2020. Admit Card has been a mandatory document for SRMJEEE 2020 entrance test as it includes important details of the candidates such as candidate’s name, photograph, signature, exam date, timings, exam centre etc. It is compulsory for each candidate to carry their admit card to the exam centre along with their ID proof such as their voter ID/passport/Aadhar card/driving license, otherwise, they will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.
Result Announcement
SRM University is in charge of releasing the result of SRMJEEE 2020 entrance test soon after the examination gets over. The result is going to consist of all India rank of the candidate along with counselling call letter. In addition to that, the result is also going to be sent to the registered email address and phone number of the candidate. The result will be released at the official site, so the candidates are asked to download the SRMJEE result online through login.
Counselling Process
After the announcement of the result, the candidates who will qualify the result as well as the cut-off marks and their names are listed in the merit list will be asked to appear in the counselling procedure. The process is going to involve phase 1 & phase 2 which will be Offline & Online respectively. At the end of the process, the original required documents of selected candidates will go through for verification process.
