ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022: The international championship of Twenty20 cricket is all set to begin its 8th edition this year. The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 has been scheduled to commence in October 2022 and is going to continue till November 2022. In this edition, the host of this prestigious tournament is Australia, where 16 teams will compete against each other in a total of 45 matches in the league.
The tournament will include 16 teams in total, out of which the leading ten teams are from the rankings while the remaining six teams will be selected through the T20 World Cup Qualifier. This upcoming tournament is going to be organized and governed by the International Cricket Council (ICC). ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022: Qualified Teams
ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 is going to held next year in Australia. This will be the 8th Edition of the ICC T20 World Cup while the 7th Edition of the ICC T20 World Cup was held in UAE and Oman from 17 October to 14 November. the 7th edition of the ICC T20 World Cup was Postponed last year due to Covid-19. This Year ICC T20 World Cup 2022 is Scheduled to be held from 16th October to 13th November 2022. India, Pakistan, West Indies, Afghanistan, South Africa, England, New Zealand, and Australia will be the participants. These Eight Teams will go straight to the Super 12 while Namibia, Scotland, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh have Secured their Position because they Qualify for Super 12s in the T20 World Cup 2021. the Remaining Four Birth will be filled after the Qualifier Matches in early 2022.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has confirmed the teams that will participate in this upcoming tournament. A total of twelve teams are going to take part in this competition, however, the top four teams (out of 12) will be advanced to Super 12 after qualifying from the first round. So, four teams are yet to be advanced to the final team, also known as Super 12, who will finally take part in T20 World Cup 2022 matches.

A total of eight teams will take part in the first round of the T20 world cup and are going to be divided into two groups.
Group A: Namibia, Sri Lanka, United Arab Emirates, and Global Qualifier B Runner-up

So far, eight teams have reached the Super 12 phase of the upcoming T20 World Cup tournament due to their previous performance and rankings in the 2021 edition. These teams are India, New Zealand, South Africa Australia, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, England, and Pakistan. Other than these eight teams Namibia, Scotland, Sri Lanka, and the West Indies were positioned in the Group Stage of the tournament.
In the meantime, the remaining four spots are going to be filled by the top two teams from each of the two Global Qualifiers. The fixture of Super 12s is going to be concluded on 6th November 2022. The first semifinal is scheduled to hold on November 9 at the Sydney Cricket Ground, followed by the second semifinal and final match on November 10 and 13 at Adelaide Oval and MCG, Melbourne respectively.
